Closer to home, the governor has dismissed the head of the Nebraska State Patrol, and turned over investigative information to the US Attorney’s Office and the FBI.

This comes after a couple high-speed chases (one recent and near my home) where the State Patrol allegedly lied and shifted stories when information or video came out, to cover themselves after those white suspects were killed.

Several other officers have been placed on administrative leave pending the completion of the governor’s investigation commission into the incidents.
