True. We were talking about that on Wednesday. The main difference between the responsible sites and the irresponsible sites is that the responsible ones delete comments like that and ban people who post them repeatedly. Some sites decline to do that because they want to maximize their traffic and banning crazies causes them to go elsewhere to get their freak on. Shortsighted, but true.

Depends on what your goals are, I guess. If all you want to do is churn a lot of page refreshes, encouraging or just allowing the most rabid OCD kooks to run rampant will get you there in a hurry, and might even marginally boost your ad revenues.

Ultimately, though, even the most braindead ad placement software is going to notice that all of your 5000 hits per day are coming from 5 IP addresses, though.
