Notice how the female patient is consistently referred to as the ‘mother’. Nice touch, asshats!
Anyway, Ed knows perfectly well what he is doing when he elides that distinction between fetus and infant. A troglodyte like Ace or Dan Riehl is dumb enough not to know— but he does. IMO that makes him worse.
