The BBC says 1500 people attended, but their slideshow certainly doesn’t provide any evidence of that: Anti-terror rally, ‘Using religion’.
UPDATE at 7/7/07 11:02:50 am:
Predictions were that “thousands” would attend a “huge” rally: Anti-terror rally held in city.
Thousands of people will gather in Scotland’s biggest city on Saturday for a huge anti-terror rally.
The Scotland United Against Terror in Glasgow has been organised by Islamic leaders to protest at last week’s attack on the city’s airport.
More than 4,000 people are expected to attend the show of solidarity in George Square, including other faith leaders, police, trade union bosses and politicians.
