Hamas Thugs Caught Smuggling Suitcases Full of Cash (Again)

Middle East • Views: 3,299

Hamas “negotiators” attended cease-fire talks in Cairo this week, and somehow, mysteriously, ended up with suitcases full of money that they tried to smuggle into Gaza: Hamas negotiators stopped with suitcases of cash.

CAIRO – Hamas negotiators left Egypt without a long-term cease-fire with Israel on Thursday — but not before some members of the militant group’s delegation were stopped at the Gaza border carrying millions in cash.

The delegation walked away from the cease-fire talks because of disagreements over the blockage on Gaza and border security. Talks will continue at a later date.

An Egyptian security official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media, said the group initially refused to be searched by Egyptian authorities at the Rafah border crossing. When the group relented, authorities found $7 million and 2 million euros ($2.5 million) in cash in their suitcases. Another security official, also speaking on condition of anonymity, said $9 million and 2 million euros were found. The discrepancy could not be immediately explained.

That’s a hell of a lot of cash. Do they really need to buy stuff? I sorta thought they took what they wanted, and had the rest (munitions, etc.) supplied by other vendors.

I don’t believe that the Palestinian leaders really want their own state, the current racket that they have had going on for decades now is far more profitable, and besides, they don’t even have to work for the money. Moronic western countries and the always pathetic UN will continue to supply these gangster terrorists with a fresh flow of cash which they will use on weapons and bombs so that they may strike out at the Juice. When the Juice strike back, the same people and countries that supplied the Juice killers with money, will protest loudly when the Juice defends themselves.

Arab banks have generally refused to transfer money to Gaza for fear of running afoul of the United States, which considers Hamas a terrorist organization. The money has helped keep afloat the Hamas government, which is generally shunned by foreign governments.

As a not-really-relevant aside, the likelihood of a 23 week old making it to discharge is just under 20%, and that assumes the baby gets maximal care. Of the ones that survive, many will have serious defects such as blindness and cerebral palsy.

Obama has been POTUS for two weeks.

I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, though I have to say, so far he’s been off to a pretty lousy start.

McCain was right…President of the United States is not a job amenable to on-the-job training. Even Obama himself admitted that he wasn’t qualified to be POTUS…about four months before he started running.

re: #88 subsailor68

I see your point about the complications, but from the story:

One of the clinic’s owners, who has no medical license, cut the infant’s umbilical cord. Williams says the woman placed the baby in a plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.

That’s not something I ever want to see be considered either normal or acceptable here in America.

In my first sentence, I characterized this as murder.

Murder = the deliberate unlawful killing of a human being.

Now, taking a step back, the likelihood of this baby surviving was pretty small. Had it survived, it would have been born to a mother who wanted it aborted. That mother may…but may not…have been willing to go through the tremendous amount of extra work taking care of an illness prone, and possibly disabled extreme-preemie.

So this act *could* (I’m not saying “should”) be characterized as a “mercy-killing”.

Regardless, I think this incident needs both a criminal investigation, as well as an investigation by the State Medical Board of FL.

By definition, homicide is the killing of a human being.

So without ANY irony at all, it may be reasonable to consider ANY abortion “homicide” (in the literal sense).

I don’t think characterizing the killing of an extrauterine baby that is breathing on its own as “homicide” is even controversial.

The relevant question, I think, is is it MURDER, ie the deliberate UNLAWFUL killing of a person. I’ve already given my opinion, but that’s the sort of thing I think a jury ought to consider here.

OT: Geez, Louise.

Talking about the Bill Gates mosquito stunt on another forum, I wrote:

OK, they didn’t have malaria. Did these mosquitos have saliva? I’m pretty sure they did. Proteins in mosquito saliva, even malaria-free mosquitos, can cause severe and even fatal medical problems in peoples with mosquito allergies and/or asthma.

Yet, there’s no word in any write-up of this story that mentions the audience was warned about this irresponsible and extremely stupid stunt.

Then came the reply:

I doubt VERY much anything could have come from gates’s stunt. if so, you could sue him, he can afford it. and he made a nice point.

My reply:

My best friend from college died at the age of 27 from anaphylaxis after being bitten by a mosquito (he had severe mosquito allergies). The allergic reaction was from proteins in the mosquito’s saliva.

Tests did show that there was no evidence of malaria in his system. So, forgive me if I’m not impressed that Bill Gates did nothing more than insure he had malaria-free mosquitos.

Their reply:

Too bad about your friend, but the risk was incredibly low. The people who went to the talk were more likely to die in a car accident on the way there, than they were to die from from anaphylaxis brought on by a mosquito bite (given that anaphylaxis of all sorts is only responsible for about 18 deaths each year in the U.S.).

Now, if Gates had tossed a handful of peanuts into the audience, maybe then there would be cause to be upset. (And I’m not even sure about that.)

The only response I could even think of mustering:

From now on, I’ll mention to all my friends that they should make sure to die from something that is statistically significant.

IMO, apart from her personal history of being ethically challenged (eg Whitewater, commodities, etc), effective lack of credentials for the job (what exactly is her foreign policy experience again?), and the constitutional prohibition against her serving in the Cabinet at this time, her husband has taken FAR too much money from foreign sources for her to serve as Secretary of State. I was afraid of this. I did some work for the 2000 census. One of the big battles was over actually, you know, counting people versus “estimating” populations. The lefties wanted to “estimate” populations because they claimed the poor were not being counted. These lower counts led to less money and representation numbers for poor people, they claimed. The 2010 Census will be a real rape of America and a great long term diaster. Look for the resulting redistrcting to provide permanent Democratic majorities.
