Several LGF readers emailed about this photo published by an Iranian newspaper and posted on several Twitter feeds, which was apparently Photoshopped to make the crowd look larger. It does look like a pretty clear example of photo manipulation, but so far I haven’t been able to discover which newspaper it comes from, or who took the photo; there’s a lot of disinformation being pushed out via Twitter, so take this with a grain of sodium chloride.

The essence of Christianity is told us in the Garden of Eden history. The fruit that was forbidden was on the tree of knowledge. The subtext is, All the suffering you have is because you wanted to find out what was going on. You could be in the Garden of Eden if you had just kept your mouth shut and hadn't asked any questions. -- Playboy Interview, April 1993
