-RetweetLizard Interview Ripples Across Intarwebs

Blogosphere | Thu, Nov 12, 2009 at 5:58:07 pm PST

My interview with Erik Kain has been getting a fair amount of attention; Erik emailed to let me know it was linked by Fark.com and other high-traffic sites. Going by Tweetdeck’s search results, there was some Twittering too.

Andrew Sullivan linked to it at Daily Dish, with these comments about neo-Confederate blogger Robert Stacy McCain: Getting Off The Bandwagon - The Daily Dish | By Andrew Sullivan.

McCain’s views are, strictly speaking, fascist in tone and intent. His open declaration that he would be open to the genocide of Palestinians is depraved. That he remains in the polite company of the bloggy right is a sign of just how degenerate much of it has become.

Cough.

The manner in which Americans "consume" music has a lot to do with leaving it on their coffee tables, or using it as wallpaper for their lifestyles, like the score of a movie -- it's consumed that way without any regard for how and why it was made. -- From "The Real Frank Zappa Book" (ch. 11)
