Video: How Can There Be Global Warming When It’s Snowing Outside?
One of the most maddeningly ignorant talking points of the deniers is that cold temperatures prove there’s no such thing as global warming. I received two emails today parroting this silliness (example: “record cold temperatures all over Europe and you still believe in your global warming cult? Idiot! Moron! Hahahaha!” … etc.)
So I was glad to see a new video posted by environmentalist Peter Sinclair, ripping this stupid meme to shreds.
(No refutation will ever stop deniers from recycling this talking point, though, because they’re never going to be convinced by sneaky tricks like science, logic, and facts.)
