The Glenn Beck Commie-Nazi Pie Conspiracy

Media • Views: 6,037

I happened to switch my EyeTV to Fox News this afternoon just in time to catch a screenshot of Glenn Beck working his favorite themes, with his favorite subjects pasted on his favorite blackboard:

From top to bottom, we have: Mao Zedong, Vladimir Lenin, Fidel Castro, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, some European guy with a ruffled shirt, Pol Pot, Hugo Chavez, Adolf Hitler (of course), and Vlad the Impaler.

He’s unraveling the threads of history, exposing the connections, showing us how it all works behind the curtain … but even the awesome polymathic mind of Glenn Beck has missed the one fundamental attribute that connects these historical figures. They all — with the possible exception of Vlad — liked pie.

Be that as it may, Glenn concluded his show today by Godwinning himself right out, for the 4,237th time.

It’s hard to believe people aren’t starting to get tired of Beck’s repetitious far right paranoid schtick.

UPDATE at 3/2/10 6:01:12 pm:

Looks like even the ol’ Impaler himself might have indulged in an occasional pie: Traditional Romanian Food and Recipes.

“Poale-n brâu” pies are made either with sweet or salty cheese. The dough is wrapped into an envelope and filled with cheese.

Pie. The universal language.

Glenn Beck: Fascism And Communism Are The Same - 03/02/10

He's including Bush in the fascist/communist plot again. He's done this a few times.

42 jaunte  Tue, Mar 2, 2010 5:36:16pm

Beck mentions Henry VIII during an interview with Daniel Hannan:

GLENN: I have to tell you, I mean, we're talking to Daniel Hannan. He is a member of the EU parliament from England and, you know, I'm always ashamed when I talk to you because everybody is I mean, like you, you just I mean, you know every me, I know Henry the 8th I think killed a bunch of his wives and Winston Churchill was the prime minister. I don't know enough about English history. You know what I mean? It seems like a lot of people overseas kind of know a little bit more about America than we know about them. I guess maybe that's why we're

HANNAN: Yeah, okay, but listen. I'm not sure that is true, but the reason that I'm interested in the U.S. is not just out of kind of historical interest. It's because I can see that your system is working. And with all its floors and I'm not going to say that it's perfect at the moment. I listen to your show enough to know that there are plenty of people that were unhappy about things. But, you know, there are way worse alternatives, and the there were tens of millions of people tuning in all over the world to listen to your president's inauguration speech. Now, you may or may not have supported the president but what a vote of confidence in the system that people all over the world believe in the U.S. in the capacity of the ballot box to change direction. (snip)

re: #16 Cato the Elder

Why the hell is Henry VIII in there?

Here, found this at Faux News which is from the weirdo's web page there:

So Washington came; Madison laid out his idea of a Republic; the states said absolutely not — we just broke away from a king and a giant oppressive, corrupt government! See, before communism and fascism there was King Henry VIII, King George, Vlad the Impaler — you name it — oppressive killer governments. But Madison convinced them that the articles didn't have enough control, that they need a little more powerful central government, but that the central government would not impede the states rights. In fact, to make them feel better, he came up with a list of 10 rights to promise what they would not do.

Sing a song of sixpence a pocket full of rye,
Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened the birds began to sing,
Oh wasn't that a dainty dish to set before the king?
The king was in his counting house counting out his money,
The queen was in the parlour eating bread and honey
The maid was in the garden hanging out the clothes,
When down came a blackbird and pecked off her nose!

Just a friendly reminder... season six, episode six of LOST... "Sundown," probably a Sun and Jin centric episode, a companion episode to season one, episode six "House of the Rising Sun" which first introduced major parts of Sun and Jin's back story.

If you are a LOST fan, you probably noticed that the episodes so far this season have corresponded to the season one episodes, but with a shift, since we have a new time line happening.

Louis Farrakhan -- Another Piece Of Shit

Obama distanced himself from Farrakhan before the presidential election because of Farrakhan's long history of anti-Semitic remarks.

But in a 3½-hour Saviours' Day speech Sunday, Farrakhan said Obama's current political difficulties began when he stood up to the Jewish lobby during an Oval Office meeting.

"When they left the White House, his problems began," Farrakhan said.

"The Zionists are in control of the Congress."

Almost back on topic...

Looks like Mitt has finally found something over which to bond to the winguts:

Mitt Romney accuses Obama of wrongly apologizing for U.S. actions abroad during Bush years

Once and possibly future Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney says in a new book that President Barack Obama's international outreach efforts during his first year in office have been "kindling" to the "anti-American fires burning all across the globe."

In a wide-ranging policy book none-too-subtly titled "No Apology: The Case for American Greatness," Romney says the Democrat's efforts to reconcile with foreign powers, Muslims and others angered by President George W. Bush's administration have weakened the country's stature instead of enhancing it.

"And of all people, we should expect our president to understand these things, to expect that his bonds of affection for our country would be obvious and unbreakable," writes Romney. "In a world composed of nations that are filled with rage and hate for the United States, our president should proudly defend her rather than continually apologize for her."

He writes: "There are anti-American fires burning all across the globe; President Obama's words are like kindling to them."

Abducted California teenager found dead. Death to her violater/killer, and not 20 years from now, either.

Sad news in this area.

Your statement about delayed justice reminds me of a well publicized trial here a few years back, when a guy was finally convicted of abducting and killing a young girl. It was quite the trial and followed locally as intently as the OJ trial. It wasn't a slam-dunk case, either, so the trial was engaging, to say the least.

In this case we'll have to wait and see how the suspect is finally charged. Unlike the older case (in which forensics needed to piece together an old case), this one should go much more quickly.

Rough guess - divorce; war on 'the family', 'progressivism' etc.

One of the funniest letters to the editor about same-sex marriage I ever saw came from an Episcopal priest who was critical of the idea that marriage could exist except between one man and one woman. He said that he thought the founder of his church, Henry VIII, and his wife, Catherine of Aragon, and his wife, Anne Boleyn, and his wife, Jane Grey, and his wife, Anne of Cleves, and his wife, Catherine Howard, and his wife, Catherine Parr, would be very distressed to hear that some people thought you could get around that.

Personally, I'd take him out fishing or some such for a week or two in the back country. Let him grow some whiskers and get a bit smelly. I'd drink a beer or ten around the campfire with him even though he would not join in (the body being God's temple and all). So damn disappointing. He is really the right person for the tough, tough job at hand.

re: #274 SanFranciscoZionist

You know, I really don't think you can call George III's government an 'oppressive killer government'. Certainly not by the standard of the day.

North America is the one place in the world where the rights of man are fully understood; for the Americans are fitting descendants of those famous republicans who left their country to escape the tyrant. They are a breed of men who have proved themselves worthy of to fight & conquer even the English, during a time when the latter had regained their liberty and framed the finest constitution that has ever been. The American revolution will be useful to England herself, for it will force her to re-examine her constitution and weed it of abuses. What will happen then? Being driven out of the continent of North America, the English will throw themselves on the French and Spanish possessions in the West Indies and give them English government, which is founded upon, and even tends to increase, man's natural love of liberty. Then new constitutions will be framed upon a basis of freedom, in the quondam French and Spanish islands, and especially in Spanish America; & thus the English will achieve the signal honour of having given birth to almost the only free countries in the world: the only peoples who will have known and preserved the rights of man, and therefore the sole ones actually worthy to bear his name. But how many years will be needed to make this revolution complete? Enormous stretches of land will have to be cleansed of the French and Spanish, who would only perpetuate slavery, and colonised with Englishmen, bearing the seeds of freedom. These seeds will germinate, and at last bring forth that final revolution which will drive the English themselves from the two Americas and all the Indies.
