The latest freakish fantasy to sweep through the right wing blogs like a forest fire of stupid is the out-of-nowhere rumor that President Obama is planning to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens by executive order!

Ahhh! Ahhh! We’re doomed! [Run around screaming…]

The source for this latest outrageous outrage is … nothing. No, really, nothing. There’s no source, and absolutely no evidence that such a plan is under way. No article, no bill in Congress, no offhand remark from an administration official, nothing. It’s a rumor being spread by far right loons like Orrin “Drug Test The Unemployed” Hatch and James “God Wouldn’t Let Climate Change Happen” Inhofe. That’s it. Nothing else.

So, of course, popular right wing blogger (and writer for Newsmax, World Net Daily, and Human Events) Pamela “Shrieking Harpy” Geller is predicting BLOOD ON THE STREETS! She can hardly wait.

Quoth the harpy:

If the king decrees that all illegals will be granted amnesty, I can assure you that America will not go quietly. If you recall the last time partial amnesty was broached under the Bush administration (when both parties actually worked together), millions took to the streets and voted it down — and that was before the phenomenon known as the “tea parties.”

It is increasingly clear that the most divisive President in history is itching for a civil war. And at the rate he is going, he is going to get one — if he continues to ignore the will of the American people.

As I write, Geller is shopping at Gucci for an AK47. Gold-plated, with rhinestones.
