Popular right wing blogger (and writer for Newsmax, World Net Daily, and Andrew Breitbart’s websites) Pamela “Shrieking Harpy” Geller is once again doing what she does best — inciting hatred against Muslims, in particular the Cordoba House planned for downtown Manhattan, near the former site of the World Trade Center. The Cordoba House is a proposed community center, to be housed in an existing 13-story building. It will include a swimming pool, a 500-seat auditorium, a restaurant, and a bookstore in addition to a mosque, but Geller continually refers to it as “a MEGA-MOSQUE overlooking Ground Zero.”

And this time she has a right wing politician co-signing her bigotry: NY Senate Candidate Jay Townsend.

The comments at Geller’s blog show that her followers are getting her hate message loud and clear; they’re posting open threats:

At some point, we are going to have to take off the gloves and stop being nice. What are we prepared to do remains the question.

I am not surprised the hater of America and his despicable wife cannot be bothered to respond. Thank you Pamela, for sending the nicest letter that you could. Thank you, Jay Townsend for doing the same. It is proving to everyone in this country, these two cannot be trusted. They are no better than their murdering counterparts. And believe me, they want to do the same as their murdering counterparts. And in attempting to build this monstrosity, they will do even better…rubbing 9/11 in our collective faces, forever. They need to be stopped, now, and I really don’t care how it’s done.
