New LGF Feature: Download a Copy of Your Entire Image Library
Here’s a brand new feature I’m sure everyone who uses LGF’s personalized Image Library system (available free to registered users) will appreciate: now you can download your entire collection of images in a ZIP file. When you expand the file, it creates a directory structure with all the images neatly filed in folders and subfolders named by dates.
Since these zip archives can be quite large depending on how many images you’ve uploaded, there’s a limit of one archive download per user per week.
Still to do: I haven’t decided yet how to handle tags, captions and other “meta” information about the images. But having a complete backup of all your images is such a useful feature as is, I decided to go live with it now.
It’s simple to use; only one button labeled “Download Image Library,” visible at upper right in the Image Library main page.
