Bill O’Reilly Is Spoiling for a Holy War
Last night I took a quick run through right wing Twitter just for laughs, and saw tweet after tweet from self-identified “conservative Christian patriots” calling for every last person in the Middle East to be slaughtered in retribution for ISIS atrocities against Christians. I tweeted this after being exposed to all the bad craziness:
The right wing is spoiling for a religious war w/ ISIS; anyone who points out the fatal flaws in this narrative will be viciously attacked.

Little did I realize that the “holy war” meme would soon be the latest Fox News wingnut rallying cry; and here’s Bill O’Reilly going all in on it, saying the White House needs to realize we’re in a “holy war” and get this mass killing party on the road, pronto. Because Fox News is all about the teachings of Jesus Christ.
(Along the way he also attacks the State Department’s Marie Harf for suggesting that killing everybody might not be the best solution to ISIS. So my tweet above is 2 for 2.)
