Did Melania Trump Really Have an Architecture Degree? Then Why Has Her Website Disappeared?

Politics • Views: 42,395

In the latest plot twist of this continuously baffling election season, it now looks like Donald Trump and his wife Melania may have lied about her undergraduate degree in architecture, after her professional website disappeared from the internet this afternoon.

The professional website of Melania Trump, wife of the Republican presidential nominee, has apparently been deleted from the internet as of Wednesday afternoon.

The disappearance of Trump’s elaborate website comes just days after news outlets, including The Huffington Post, raised serious questions about whether she actually earned an undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Ljubljana, which is in Trump’s native Slovenia. Her online biography claimed she had, but a book about her life published earlier this year says she left the university after one year so she could pursue a modeling career.

Embellishing Trump’s educational achievements in her online biography “was almost certainly done in consultation with Trump and his advisors, as they were desperate to give off the impression that the Slovenian model was not just beautiful, but also smart and well-educated,” according to Melania Trump: The Inside Story, an unauthorized biography of the potential first lady.

It seems rather unfair to not consider Kaine tonight’s big speech (and there’s been several good ones already) but oh man, I have been looking forward to this.

Sorry I’m late to the party for this: I’m finally getting around to watching Biden’s speech, and I’m crying openly.

Sorry I’m not sorry for this: for maybe distracting from the hilarious/disgusting dumpster-fire shitshow of the Trump family to talk a little bit about a great American family.

BRB, going back to youtube to feel passion, power, hope about this country again.

I teared up a bit during dinner while we watched that too. My heart aches a bit as I type this, thinking about his advice about the death of loved ones.

Well…okay, I agree. But, she’s absolutely not pretending to be a wonk or anything, is she? I would imagine she’s probably not dumb, but even here people were tearing her down for modeling, which seems irrelevant. I can’t imagine more than a few dozen people are voting for Trump because of Melania, and they don’t care about her credentials.

Are we really needing this intro video though? Does the President really need this, even though I get that this is a great sendoff for him from the party that sent him to the WH twice.
