Lyrics

Tou tou tou tou, à ton tour,

Faut que tu me donnes tous tes charmes.

Tou tou tou tou, à ton tour,

Faut que tu me donnes tous tes charmes.

Here’s an awesome video. Armenian Rap. It’s a huge hit all over Eastern Europe. Yeah, you’ll not going to hear this get any play in the U.S. :-(

Super Sako ft Spitakci Hayko Mi gna ArmeniaTv, Post factum 2017

Edit: Just in case someone wonders why a “huge hit” has so few views, the original audio on YouTube (no video) has 65 million views … (v=TPjN6N8TgNI)

Trump is freakin’ mad.

He has lost perspective to the point he can’t see how irrational he acts and it is doing him no good.

But, he just can’t be contained by anyone so he is just going to go completely demented and proceed to get more out of touch with reality.

This isn’t going to be pretty.

Preet Bharara vs. Fake Newsovich

Well, maybe if Cernovich wasn’t a complete and utter dumbass. My guess is he just read the headline, which seems poorly worded - I had to read the actual article to really figure out what it was trying to say. But conservatives don’t read, they tweet, so I get why he sounds stupid.

The most pathetic part is the fact that there are plenty of people who will fall for this tactic.

Hey Donny, HRC has been out of the public eye since November. She’s not guilty of any crime, will no longer be investigated for any phony made up supposed crime, and nobody with a lick of sense gives a shit.

Anybody connected to Preet Bharara is a conspiracy. Can’t you see…they are all out to get him. It’s a witch hunt, so unfair. Sad.

My wife related a story of a TV station promotional contest a friend entered that he won.

“Name a country in the world without the letter ‘A’ in its name.”

“The Holy See”

“What?”

“The Holy See”

“Can you repeat that?”

“Chile”

“We have a winner.”

Yet this is a-ok in yam world.

The former Jones Day lawyers freed from parts of an anti-revolving door ethics pledge were Donald McGahn II, Gregory Katsas, Ann Donaldson, James Burnham, David Morrell and Blake Delaplane. All now work within the White House counsel’s office, which McGahn runs.

The ethics waiver says the six lawyers can meet and communicate with their former law firm, even though the firm represents President Donald Trump’s campaign committee, the Republican National Committee and other Trump political action committees in transactional, litigation and general legal advice situations.

Also note—The Trump 2020 campaign’s latest quarterly filing shows $321,333 to Jones Day.

Greets and saluts from the Resistance in the triple H NYC metro area. It’s another day in Trumpworld where he’s going on about conspiracy theories and nonsensical ravings to deflect attention from his ongoing failures and the sheer volume of criminality that envelops his entire administration.

Where to start? How about at the top (from this morning):

From there, Trump veers off in to conspiracy land - the whole bullshit uranium story.

This is all Trump ever does…. always. Push nonsense to deflect attention from the real stories.

Bully. Bloviate. Lie. Project. It’s the Trump way.

Since you ask, I think the blow job imagery has a whiff of homophobia (or misogyny, depending on who you are accusing of giving it). It implies there is something submissive (in a loser way, not a BDSM way) and servile with being in the “woman’s role.”

It isn’t the worst slur ever, but I don’t use it.

“…Ducat also points out that the obsession with maintaining those hard boundaries and that perfect sense of control creates brittle male egos that are easily shattered. For guys who run this way, derision and humiliation rank among their most powerful fears. Someone who is laughing at you has breached your boundaries, withdrawn their respect, and denied you control. They’ve seized the power to define you—and they’ve defined you as something to make fun of. Existentially, you cannot allow someone to make you that vulnerable and still maintain your self-image as a full, free, respectable man. And so you must fight back—immediately, forcefully, in a way that discourages other would-be scoffers and leaves no doubt who is in control. (If you’ve wondered what drove the overwhelmingly disproportionate reaction to Desiree Fairooz, who dared laugh at Attorney General Jeff Sessions, here’s your explanation.)’

All rational men in Texas (all 9 of us) are acutely aware of the fundamental cowardice of the conservative Bubba element. It guides everything they do, from their absurdly arrogant swaggering and boasting to their tendency to run in packs and make indirect threats. Those who understand this can run rings around them, in business, romance and everything else except politics, the one area where the pack mentality is a real advantage.

Today on CPAC craziness, they had a panel that discussed how we can not accept refugees from war-torn areas due to the fact that the records for them have been destroyed and they most certainly will be carrying diseases.

Also Robert Davi suggested “The New Equilibrium Press Accountability Policy” that suggests that the President no longer refer to CNN or MSNBC but rather, Amazon owned, etc… or Time Warner owned… or AT&T owned… As a way to punish the networks’ parent companies by sending the signal to supporters not to shop or invest in these outlets. This would allow the people to “vote with their pocketbooks,” and punish the media for running “fake stories.”

They really need to stop normalizing these assholes.

George, when I’ve watched him, hasn’t been letting them off the hook for their comments. Actually, it’s been interesting watching GMA. Whoever writes their stories tends toward MBF way too much. OTOH, George and the political commentators on the show have been going after Trump and Republicans, even if they sound like they’re contradicting the report. They’ve also been asking tougher questions of their guests.

What difference does it make if Trump supporters fall for this tactic though? They already hate Clinton so I’m not sure what difference this makes.

Trump appears to be catering only to his deranged supporters instead of trying to broaden his appeal. Not sure how that is going to work out for him in next year’s election.

Considering the other time where he was with foreign leaders and he took the golf cart instead of walking with the rest of the leaders, I’m guessing that he’s not exactly in good health and that he’s putting on the airs that he’s in great health. It’s just another lie.

It’s all he ever does.

I’m appalled and just checking in.

If a lot of middle class conservatives are like the ones I work with, they’re not actually paying enough attention to ever think they’d want to give up their Amazon Prime free two day shipping. These people aren’t paying attention to politics because they don’t think it will affect them.

They’re the ones that actually have to get hit by a recession or depression in order to change their votes. You would have to send their sons and daughters to war in order to get them to think about the conflicts America gets into.

Its not that I believe that Trump voters will boycott Amazon enough to have any effect, it’s that they will… are having the president attack brands because they are perceived as liberal.

What I’m saying is that they won’t. The 50% of Americans that have Amazon Prime - 70% of middle class Americans have it - won’t give it up just because Bezos also owns the Washington Post. It’s too convenient. No one’s going to switch from AT&T to Verizon or Spectrum because of politics.

Edit: Plus, the WaPo is getting a whole lot of subscriptions for having reporters that report on Trump.

The Ron Howard narrator thing is from the show Arrested Development, where he plays a disembodied third person omniscient narrator who frequently provides mocking commentary to the self absorbed goings on of the once rich but now disgraced and much poorer members of the Bluth family.

It is, /was a great show you should pick it up on DVD sometime.
