If that happens, I assume the judge would find it upon himself to nullify that verdict in all the ways he can think of and simply pronounce Rittenhouse ‘Innocent’ from the bench. (Yes, ‘Innocent’, rather than ‘Not Guilty’).

Post Alert—Appeals Court blocks immediate release of Trump records.
Appeals court temporarily bars release of Trump White House records to House Jan. 6 committee
A federal appeals court on Thursday blocked the imminent release of records of former president Donald Trump’s White House calls and activities related to the Jan. 6 Capitol attack after a lower court found that President Biden can waive his predecessor’s claim to executive privilege.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit granted an emergency injunction while it considers Trump’s request to hold off any release pending appeal, and fast-tracked oral arguments for a hearing Nov. 30.
The brief unsigned order is a temporary pause in the case and does not address the underlying legal issues. The order was issued by Judges Patricia Millett, Robert Wilkins and Ketanji Brown Jackson. All three were nominated to the bench by Democratic presidents and Jackson is a recent nominee of President Biden.
Judge: Prosecution didn’t raise this absurd objection before, so I’ll allow the Defense to use it.

Waiting for the defense team to explain that the uniqueness of each persons optic nerves makes objective reality impossible to detect.
Some satire from Martian_Astronomer on FARK.
The New York Times reports the defense for shooter Kyle Rittenhouse incorrectly claimed that an iPad’s pinch-to-zoom function could modify footage of the incident, “creating what it thinks is there, not what necessarily is there.” That sparked a debate between lawyers and Judge Schroeder, who maintained the burden was on the prosecution to show the imagery remained in its “virginal state,” not on the defense to prove manipulation.
———
Except it’s worse than that.
When photons enter a pixel in a CMOS sensor, they are converted into photoelectrons. But not all of them. Each pixel has a quantum efficiency, which is the fraction of photons that are successfully converted into electrons. Some photons are rejected by the color filter, simply for being the wrong color. This means that for white light, only a small fraction of the photons get into any pixel, whereas colored light will enter its specific pixel much more easily, which is clearly reverse racism. The surface of the sensor also has non-zero reflection, meaning that some photons just bounce off. How does the sensor decide which photons to reject? Nobody knows. It could easily be political bias.
Then, the photoelectrons which accumulate in the pixel are used to modulate the gate of a transistor in the pixel amplifier. Does it treat all electrons equally? No, the amplifier has some intrinsic nonlinearity, meaning that some electrons count more than others. Does this type of unfair counting sound like something that has any place in a courtroom?
The voltage from the pixel amplifier goes through a couple more amplification stages (or so we’re told!) and then is converted to a digital value by an analog to digital converter (ADC.) Moreover, the type of ADC used is typically a successive-approximation ADC - it literally is making a series of guesses! By the time the signal even gets into the digital side of the camera, not only are the original electrons not even involved, but the ADC has made bunch of guesses as to what the actual value of a given pixel should be. There’s no way this can be considered a “raw” image anymore, and it’s clearly up to the prosecution to prove that none of these steps harm the evidentiary nature of the image.
From there, the camera software makes other adjustments to the values that are eventually stored in the image file - the temperature-dependent zero-level needs to be subtracted, and brightness and contrast of the displayed image need to be scaled to the dynamic range of the raw data, otherwise (particularly at night,) the photo isn’t going to look like anything. Does Apple/Samsung/LG publish their image processing algorithms? No, of course not, so of course we don’t know if there is an AI in the code that makes images of white armed conservatives look more incriminating than they are.
What I’m saying should be pretty clear by now: There a dozen places in between light reaching your cellphone camera and an image being displayed for the anti-conservative bias of Big Tech to create false incriminating data. Therefore, unless the prosecution can get Apple’s camera designers and the whackjobs from Analog Devices who made the guessing ADCs that we’re *supposed* to blindly trust on the witness stand to testify that they’ve never made any political contributions to Democrats, any images or video from their devices should be disregarded. Then we’ll need a pointy-headed physics professor to come in and explain how we know that photons create electrons in a semiconductor, and to take us from the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation, to the Kronig-Penny model, to the nature of valence and conduction band, Fermi levels, P-N junctions, and MOSFET channel modulation, otherwise there is no reason whatsoever to assume that the CMOS sensors are not ANTIFA agents who want to punish Real Americans for defending their rights.

oh good grief. you’re blowing something up two times. it’s taking a pixel that it knows the color of and then it’s adding the same color into the number of new pixels that it calculates it needs to produce the same image at the larger size. And there comes a point where the original resolution doesn’t have enough information in it to provide an image. And this is why when you are shooting photographs that are going to become billboard advertisements, you do it with a 120 mb per picture large-frame camera, and not a 4 mb smartphone. Because when you blow up 120 megabytes, the resolution is still sharp at billboard size. Fuuuuuck…..

Next up—The Dress.
I just can’t bring myself to watch this travesty. Exactly what point are these numbnuts trying to make?
*thud*
With no evidence, MSM & antifa-loving politicians immediately labeled Rittenhouse a white supremacist terrorist. It’s obvious now that he was just a foolish kid who felt he needed to protect people & the community from rioters & arsonists because the government failed to do so. pic.twitter.com/uhjGQtM4y4

I wouldn’t know. I remember Bob and Chez talking about him and playing clips.

OK, then I’m probably not having a stroke.
I’m no square, but if I met my lawyer for the first time, and he looked like this, I would not be happy.

Clip of this exchange is quite a thing, and includes the suggestion people should…only have one pastor? I think?
