White House releases Obama’s passport photo: Will this quiet the ‘birther’ movement?
by Angela Smith
The White House has released President Obama’s passport photo in an apparent attempt to quiet down the ‘birther’ movement. The birther movement is a group of people who believe that President Obama was not born in the United States.
The passport lists Obama’s birthplace as Hawaii. Since it is his official passport, it means that it is new. So, is the White House trying to pass one over one us? Who knows. All that is known for sure is that the mystery will continue.
This of course has led to further speculation and conspiracies from the likes of Jerome Corsi at World Net Daily, birthers and associated lunatics.
Update: The White House didn’t actually release a photo of the POTUS passport but was shown during a question and answer segment regarding the president’s passport in a White House weekly video, West Wing Week. The question posed was “does the President receive stamps on his passport when he travels” and the complete segment begins at around 0:40.
