That is really foolish. Fox has too much anti-truther material built up, this can only hurt them. Roger Ailes needs to make it very clear the Napolitano that trutherism is not welcome on Fox News Channel.

It could possibly backfire but don't underestimate their ability to change gears. Their audience doesn't mind. They'll just pretend they never opposed trutherism. It could go either way.

I like the way the "judge" mentions Scheuer too. I wonder how I initially missed the fact that he was Paulian. Great minds...

The problem is that they have a huge amount of footage to contradict any change. The gain would be slight and the cost tremendous. I predict that this move gets hammered into the ground. And I think that a lot of Fox's audience would very much mind trutherism, and that's another reason it won't be tolerated.

Think about how the Republicans are all of a sudden opposed to the war in Afghanistan. Who even thought they could get away with that. Obama's Healthcare reform is based on Republican ideas. They turned on that. The Bailouts and Stimulus came from Republicans. They now oppose that too.

Too late. It's spreading to other right wing websites too. Looks like the Able Danger conspiracy has found a new home. Given that this video implicates a former Clinton staffer it will find new appeal with once former opponents of truther conspiracies in the current political climate.

Most Republicans don't oppose the fight in Afghanistan. Moreover, Obama's plan may have started with Republican ideas but it was really Obama's own creation and it not a free market thing. The bailouts came from the GOP but the Stimulus was all Obama.

This is so Orwellian it's almost unbelievable.
We've never been at war with Al Qaeda.

Good catch. That was posted a few days ago. Napolitano isn't going to catch any heat for this. The Wingnuts are more than ready to embrace Truthers.
I think this was orchestrated. About a week ago Alex Jones dissed Beck But had high praise for Napolitano. Napolitano appeared on Alex Jone's show a few days later.
Now Napolitano is using his Fox show to promote Alex Jones' conspiracy theories. This was planned ahead and almost certainly approved by Fox management.
It's much like Michael Steele's "gaffe" about opposing the war in Afghanistan. It's a trial balloon.

Sorry-I think hizzhonor is a royal doosh, but I don't see a conspiracy. I do think that the GOP is on the cusp of going Paulian however. Sad what Steele let happen on his watch.

Honestly? I don't think it would have mattered who was in charge given the mood of the GOP in the last few months of the election, and after Obama won. Steele has helped it along, of course, by being completely useless at his job, but this can't all be put at his feet.

If Napolitano keeps this up, what do you want to bet that his bosses will encourage him to take the Sanchez route out?

Does this rise to the level of '9-11 Trutherism'?
Is he suggesting that 9-11 was an inside job, or just that there were serious intelligence failures that were covered up?

Yes, They are saying that all the government investigations and reports are all bogus and politically driven coverups to hide the "truth". They are basically saying that the government intentionally allowed 9-11 to happen or that 9-11 was an inside job.

Also, If you click over to youtube you can check out the channel that posted the video. It's a Paulian, 9-11 truther, antivaccination, new world order conspiracy nut.
