Intel Corp (INTC.O) plans to build a $5 billion, cutting-edge microchip factory in Arizona by 2013, sharply ramping up its U.S. manufacturing capacity as part of a major global expansion.
Although this has been in the planning stages for some time, the US labor market, in light of the recent world events, is starting to look pretty darned good. A little inflation might be the result, but I don’t think anyone will mind.
