Disrupt NYC 2011 is so big… we’re taking over a Pier!
Psst: Don’t tell the wingnuts that this is really about tech, tech startups, and y’know capitalism.
Pier 94 that is – overlooking the beautiful Hudson River in west Midtown Manhattan. Located at 711 12th Avenue (at 55th Street & the West Side Highway), this all new TechCrunch venue is by far the largest venue, 133,000 sq ft to be exact, we’ve ever had for a conference and we feel it’s worth the wait. Indeed, at TechCrunch we believe it’s time to go big, or go home. So all you Battlefield hopefuls out there– we challenge you! Bring your A-game to Disrupt New York this year as this year’s main stage will be an unforgettable launch platform.
But bigger than the venue and the stage, what we have planned for inside the Pier walls is even better. In addition to our usual BIG name speakers and guests, BIG sponsors, and BIG space for more displays, exhibitors, lounges, we of course will be hosting the bigger and better Hackathon which will take place at the Pier Saturday, May 21st into Sunday morning May 22nd. We’ll be announcing how to participate in the Hackathon in a few days.
