The narrative of a moral and civil Israel is anathema to many.

Cognitive dissonance.

Reality has always been a pesky nuisance.

I should also note that Israel has indeed taken in thousands of Africans before, from Sudan, Ethiopia. See Operation Solomon, Operation Moses, Operation Joshua, and Operation Yakhin.

Now you’ve done it.

You’re shooting down the Israel as Nazi narrative.

And they have worked so hard at it.

You know what’s weird? If you were to take a picture of Jewish life in the late Thirties and today, you’d see the Jews living in a confined area, surrounded by walls, and calls from the outside world not to do business with Jews.

The comparison’s don’t end there.

I’d hope you could say “They’ve got some real allies now”, and I know you can say “This time, the Jews, in Israel at least, are armed and able to defend themselves.”

What Israel is really armed with—are the inventions and technology the world needs. And the freedom to keeping making more vital tools.

Quite concur.
