If a picture is worth 1000 words, these pictures could be worth 1000 lives
The top photo is an ammunition cabinet from a Bass Pro Shops store. The bottom photo is an ammo cabinet from Wal-Mart. Both of these stores are in the South.
Although not shown in the images, both stores had signs up indicating a severe shortage of practically all rifle and handgun ammo. Bass Pro even had a per person limit on purchases.
Imagine these two cabinets were packed full. Then look at the photos again. Now consider how many empty ammo cabinets are sitting in Wal-Mart, Bass Pro and other gun stores across the country and you begin to understand how many thousands of rounds have been scooped up and stockpiled by Americans terrified Barack Obama and his Liberal henchmen are coming for their guns.
I support the 2nd Amendment. I believe in responsible gun ownership.
But I also believe our nation has a gun problem that needs to be addressed. I look at these pictures and I see more than empty ammo cabinets.
I see lives at risk. Mothers, daughters, fathers, sons.
America needs a change of attitude on guns. They have their place in a peaceful society. But there must be qualifications, there must be accountability. The amendment itself mentions a “well regulated militia”.
Let’s see what happens when we put as much effort into that part of it as we do the part that follows…
“The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
