Why would someone do something like that? I agree, it’s NOT funny.

It’s sickening enough when the Westboro freaks put on their hateshow, but this guy does it “for fun” and to misdirect hate at Orthodox Jews.

Read the comments at Gothamist.

It’s strange that nobody recognized Fried’s name or the blog he runs. He must be desperate for attention.

The last comment in the Gothamist article is ironic:

Our takeaway from all this? The guy with the intolerant bumper stickers is intolerant… Which, all things considered, is still probably easier to stomach than if the car belonged to some hipster sporting the bumper stickers ironically.

That’s exactly what I was thinking, that this guy’s just gonna stir up anti-Semitism directed at the most outwardly obvious Jews, the Orthodox. What an ass.

He needs advice from a 5 year old girl on how to place stickers.

I think those are magnets actually.

FYI, it’s not the same guy as the one who runs Frum Satire. He lives in California They just have the similar names.

The one who owns the van is definitely very serious about his beliefs especially the part about evolution being fiction. The group he runs use to have these exhibits where they used posters and stuffed animals to explain how evolution is fiction. Basically very street preacher-ish stuff.

The name was familiar, I Googled it and Frum Satire came up.

It really did seem like a lame prank.

So this “Frum Satire” dude isn’t “HOMOPHOBIC AND HATEFUL” as this page proclaims. Another update/edit of this page would seem to be in order.
