Wingnuts like to point at Detroit and laugh about what a failed city it is (which it certainly would be if Mitt Romney had his way) but there has been a huge increase in high-paying auto industry jobs since GM was saved.

High pay is a bad thing unless it only goes to the CEOs. Wingnut 101 at the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.

This is terrible news for the teabaggers who want to destroy America’s last industry simply to make a political point.

Republicans can say whatever they want to about the U.S. auto industry, but its’ revival says that it’s all BS, and they know it. President Obama spent a large amount of political capital when he decided to help our automakers, republicans used it againt him, it backfired, and now all they have left to attack is Tesla because Fisker is doing really well, and it chaps their asses. Many republican politicians and their supporters aren’t patriots, they’re anarchists, particularly if they’re not in total control of all levels of our government.
