Sunday Morning Tech Updates
First a reminder: E3 - the world’s largest consumer tech expo starts this week, so expect a lot of new technical updates.
I’ve personally been limping along with some old tech for the past six years - my antique blackberry and core II pc were good enough to get the job done since new newer tech was always lacking in something that I really wanted, and the new tech I was seeing seemed less capable than it should in this day and age. So I patched up my frankenputer as the need arose, and suffered the classic Ipod dying after only 45 minutes on any day the temperature dropped below 60. The blackberry became less smart and less used during that period and it eventually became just for company email and the actual phone function.
The event horizon of enough new features to justify the cost was crossed over with a vengeance this year for me, so I’ve replaced the phone, the pod, and the PC all at once. This should be quite an adventure - I’ll post here as I find new things, and you can expect a few vents as I struggle with how things should be vs how they are.
What I can do for everyone is to compare the worlds since I have a window into all three camps now: Windows, Android, and Apple, so it should prove interesting.
