Satire is Dead: Limbaugh comes out against Drinking Water
Satire is dead.
It’s been dying a long time, but we’re reaching rotting corpse levels now.
Consider this tweet 4 days ago by CJ:
So Michelle Obama is trying to get people to drink more water? How long before conservatives start dying of dehydration?
— Charles Johnson (@Green_Footballs) September 13, 2013
Well, it took 4 days, but Rush has come out against drinking water.
Of course Jabba the Rush is missing the point, intentionally of course — The First Lady’s point is that water, plain ol’ water, is actually healthier for you than pretty much anything most Americans drink on an average day. It all ties in with her healthy America initiative that she’s been working on.
King Dittohead suggests that instead it’s some nefarious plot to push people to the evil, unholy bottled water.
Consider this: Would Rush ever, ever be caught drinking a cold glass of water from the tap? Especially since his criminal friends in the fracking industry have turned tap water into distilled acid rain in certain points of the country?
Lets not forget Rush was having a fit a few months back that the First Lady was pushing people to drink less soda pop, an “assault” on poor innocent big soda. Now she’s in the pocket of… big soda.
The cognitive dissonance — Obama Derangement Syndrome — is so strong that I think when Limbaugh finally goes senile from years of drug abuse, he may just become saner.
