As more than a few people, real and ficitious, have said since time immemorial, “I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”

Combine fundamentalist religious lunatics with angry, semi-sane RWNJ’s who know they got away with insurrection at Bundyville, and nothing but bad things will come from this.

I think it’s about time for the GOV to step in and tell these dumb SOBs to sit down and STFU.

3 Eclectic Cyborg  Jul 5, 2014 1:50:50pm

Well now we know where those Bundy Ranch lunatics are heading next.

I wonder if they realize most of the cartels and gangs are as well armed as they are?

Open season on brown people.

F’ing terrorists. I thought the Gov handled Bundy Ranch well be de-confronting but expected some arrests of key jackholes.

Now they’re emboldened.

The cartels and gangs are probably armed better and have a hell of a lot more experience at fighting.

Fuck that…the cartels have access to weapons that would make the wingnuts go into orgasms on sight.

Looking for the downside, here.

I get the joke, but I don’t think we need an “incident” at the border.

Never get between a fool and his karma.

FTFY. The Mexican cartels don’t fuck around. These armchair patriots are in for a hell of a rude awakening if they think they can go up against them with some poorly spelled signs and an AR-15.

They need to sit down, STFU and let the feds and local law enforcement do their thing.

These people are nothing more than vigilantes and edging towards terrorism

re: #10 Lidane

Note: Cartel guys will get into shootouts with Mexican police…and win. Over here, they drop their guns and do their time.

(At least that’s what I’ve heard from some places that featured US LEO’s point of view…they could be trying to make themselves sound better…)

And the smart money is on the cartels vs. the million moron march…what does that say about the chances the morons have vs. the US Gov?

I’ve seen this play. It’s still showing in the local theaters.

The danger is not a wingnut confrontation with the cartels. The cartels are too smart to get in trouble too near the border, and they’re too smart to be involved with American wingnuts in any fashion.

The danger is that well-armed, highly incited, poorly led militia wannabes kill Americans.

Irresponsible rhetoric has been spread at all levels of the Republican Party and their teabag factions, from Jan Brewer and Joe Arpaio to Glenn Spencer and Paul Babeu. This attracts the crazies, who feed on the rhetoric, take it literally and act on it without further direction from the top wingnuts, who then claim they are not responsible.

Here are two of the dead from the play’s first act:

That’s Raul Junior Flores, 29, and his daughter Brisenia Flores, 9. Their killers are in prison now in Arizona, two on death row and one serving two life terms. The ringleader, Shawna Forde, was picked up at the ranch of Glenn Spencer, who heads the American Border Patrol. He was not implicated in the murders. She was an associate of Jim Gilchrist, who founded and ran The Minuteman Project, until he got fired by them, then he founded ‘Jim Gilchrist’s Minuteman Project’.

The politicians stir up the organizers who recruit the freaks, and people get killed. Here’s another act from the play:

J.T. Ready began as a young Republican, got a Bad Conduct Discharge from the Marines, became a neo-Nazi, was twice caught forcibly detaining immigrants in Arizona, was a founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps and the U.S. Border Guard. He was mentored by Russell Pearce, the Arizona Senator who was recalled after he wrote and passed SB 1070 (the anti-immigrant bill). Ready was running for sheriff of Pinal County when,

On May 2, 2012, Ready entered his home in Gilbert, Arizona, and fatally shot his girlfriend Lisa, her daughter Amber, Amber’s boyfriend, Jim Hiott, and Amber’s infant daughter Lilly.[3] He then fatally shot himself.

So no, I’m not worried about wingnuts getting into it with Mexican cartels. I’m worried about right-wing self-righteous nuts being encouraged to show up at the border, where innocent Americans will be killed by them.

I don’t think the nuts learned anything from earlier acts of this play, and now intermission is over and the curtain is going up on act three. I hope law enforcement learned something.

Seconded.
