Time for LED Christmas Lights
LED Christmas lights used to burn too hot, look too dim, and cost a lot. That’s changed the past few years however, and it’s time to replace those old energy hog strings with new LED’s. They look bright, and will pay for themselves over time.
If you buy them on sale there’s a good chance that they will pay for themselves in around a 2 year timeframe by my back of the envelope calculations.
If you can’t afford to do it in one fell swoop, start replacing a string of incandescents per year, but it’s better if you can do it all at once if you can scrape together the extra dough because the sooner you start saving both your wallet and the planet, the better.
