After thinking about this question, I think a better title would be: IS ANTISEMITISM MORE DEEPLY ROOTED IN ISLAM THAN IN CHRISTIANITY and the answer would be NO.

First I’m with VB, NO. It’s not about Islam, despite those that would love for us to say so.

This might not be a popular take. But this comparison who might be a little or a lot worse is pointless. It’s all about the agendas of those involved this minute. Governments and militias and rebels and disaffected youth. To me as a rather secular fellow in terms of human affairs- The clarion difference is who will commit violence to indulge their fears or anger. You won’t find that lining up well with partisan or religious affinities. Largely it’s with the afflicted. Refugees. Those harmed by that other whether real or perceived.

Until we put our common humanity above our differences the labels will change but the results be terribly consistent.
