And now we have an angry dimwit with actual ties to Russia. But Putin is white, so let’s all dance to his tune!

Damn skippy. No respect given until it is earned, and not a second before.

The last line of the Chicago Trib article is perfect. I knew that was the other POTUS he had to have been talking about before he even began listing the insults.

I wonder if we’ll ever rid ourselves of the sickness of racism, and how many steps backward Von ClownStick & his confederacy of bigots will drag us.

And those illustrations are the nicer ones.

I will treat the President with respect… or not, depending on my choice. By their actions, the Rethuglicans have deprived themselves of any right to lecture me about my conduct.

re: #1 jhncsy

Having grown up black and having been raised in the South under Jim Crow, I can say for a fact that, during my lifetime, it has always been the case that those with less melanin in their skins in America are oftentimes viewed as being successful even if there is no actual record confirming it. In the upcoming Trump presidency, whatever he does/says will be viewed as acceptable and will be praised to the heavens.

I posted the Facebook version of the video below in one of the main threads this weekend, but now that I’ve found the YouTube version I’ll leave it here for when the wingnuts begin demanding that we respect Von ClownStick and not say #NotMyPresident.

It’s breathtaking how much vitriol was spewed at President Obama (and his family & entire administration) when you sit there and watch almost seven straight minutes of it. And that’s not even eight years’ worth—IMO, it should have been at least eight minutes, 60 seconds per year.

Even then, 365 ÷ 60 means each second represents approximately six days. There’s NO WAY there were ever six consecutive days with only one insult in them.

And let’s not forget back in 2009 when POTUS was addressing Congress and that asshole extraordinaire, Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC), interrupted him shouting, “You lie!” He apologized to President Obama privately, but refused to do so a second time, from the floor of the House (though he did do so in front of reporters, which I’m not inclined to give him much credit for).

I guess it was a bridge too far to expect a white man to publicly apologize to a black man, even though the original insult was televised and therefore happened in front of the entire nation. Oh, and Wilson still has his House seat, BTW. *spit*

History Won’t Forget How Barack Obama Was Treated
