Family Values Candidates: Track Palin Arrested for Domestic Violence
I know that we’re all kinda fixated on the current dimwitted, brutal, holier-than-thou family infesting the White House.
But every once in a while, a news item surfaces from Sarah Palin and her clan, to let us know what we would have had, if the McCain ticket had won in 2008, rather than the intelligent, tasteful, classy Obama-Biden ticket.
So yeah: Track Palin (the eldest son) was arrested. Again.
It marks the second time he’s been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in two years.
Palin, 28, was arraigned Sunday morning on three counts: felony burglary, misdemeanor reckless assault, and misdemeanor criminal mischief for causing up to $500 in property damage, according to online court records.
Further details were not immediately available. The felony burglary charge indicates Palin is accused of hurting or attempting to hurt someone while committing burglary
Reading between the lines, these are usually the kinds of charges that we’d see coming out of a trailer park infested with meth-heads. They get lit, they get brawling over the Franklin Mint plates, someone starts throwing things, there’s screaming and glass shattering, sobbing, threats, and then the fed-up neighbors call the cops. Again.
UPDATE: It’s even worse than was initially reported.
“he allegedly slugged his girlfriend in the face, kicked her in the knee, and threatened suicide with an AR-15 assault rifle. He was charged with interfering with the report of domestic violence, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and assault.”
Still, it is perhaps instructive to see this as where the Trump clan is headed, after daddy is hauled off to Federal prison, and the little miscreants have to fend for themselves.
I’d be a lot more sympathetic to the claims of PTSD if Saint Sarah hadn’t held herself and her family up as exemplars of All That Is Good And Holy while shitting all over same-sex couples and their families, black & latino families living in poor neighborhoods, college-educated parents, etc. etc.
