Funny, because I seem to remember you calling for your fainting couch a little while back at the sight of that word on account of it’s alleged ‘digusting meaning’ or whatever. Glad to see you now realise what a load of shite that argument was.

I’ll just repost what I said downstairs on the correct use of this fantastic word, that you have now at last embraced, but sadly don’t yet understand how to use :

They’re trying hard to harness the power of the word ‘butthurt’:

“An inappropriately strong negative emotional response from a perceived personal insult. Characterized by strong feelings of shame. Frequently associated with a cessation of communication and overt hostility towards the “aggressor.”“

But they don’t know how to use it appropriately, thinking to apply it (as in this case) any time someone experiences a setback, or even more commonly, just anytime they feel like annoying someone.
