Tommy’s website has been sanitized of any mention of his tenure in the New Zealand band Dragon. Here is a clip of him pretending to play with them in 1986. Jump ahead to 1:40 unless you want to see how awful Saturday night television in Australia was:

Todd Rundgren produced the accompanying album of the same name, and it was released internationally under the band name Hunter that year. That is the last name of the singer and bassist, and record execs figured “Dragon” would sound too much like a hair metal band to Americans and Europeans. The record bombed in any case.

Interesting - didn’t know that. I can see why Todd produced them — the tune sounds kind of like a lost Utopia song.

Pretty sure that’s Todd playing the solo in that video.
