Your making the mistake of thinking that the Troll cares.

I have no idea what motivates Killgore to be a self-proclaimed douchebag. The point of that wasn’t to get him to feel anything or respond: the first is ineffable, and the second—he’s too chickenshit.

Unfortunately, his viewpoint is a very common one, so it’s worth debunking. Hitchens did a wonderful service in reporting on it honestly, but some people who are really into this conflict view of the world can still force themselves not to look directly at it.
