Blue Dog Dems may not be perfect but they are a whole lot better than a real Republican. The only way D’s will take control of the Senate or the House is by electing those who are electable in Red States. Let’s do what is possible for now; if we try for the ideal, we are no better than the Bernie Bros.

I think most folks here are capable of making the pragmatic and practical decision when in the voting booth.

But everyone is going to have their own red line. Something that absolutely cannot be supported.

I don’t begrudge people that because I have mine too. For the most part, the Democratic Party aligns fairly well with mine, so I tend to vote D. (The GOP, on the other hand, crosses it right and left and back again like a fucking zig zag.) But there are still principles that I hold where I don’t compromise. End of story.

Since I’m not a politician, I can get away with that.
