I’d been preferentially using the term “White Nationalist”, instead of “White Supremacist”, but then I thought about it. What do White Nationalists want? They want a nation that is predominantly white and run by whites. And they want it to be cover the current USA. So, really, what they want is a predominantly white USA run by whites.

Which is pretty much the definition of White Supremacy. So, why call them “White Nationalists”? It’s like saying “He’s got a lot of racial animus” rather than “He’s racist”.

It reminds me of the question people asked two years ago, as if it made any difference: “Is Trump a racist himself? Or is he just appealing to racists?”
