The weird thing is they don’t seem to understand that they botched the election by letting the wingnuts take over. They should have been able to easily take the Senate, and failed utterly.

I’ve been saying this since the elections. These results are really very poor for Republicans - it’s a tremendous failure. Given every single possible advantage, the scale of which this country has never seen, they still could not do what even the polls suggested they should have done. An enormous boondoggle.
