Yeah, the Fort Pillow stuff bothers me just as much as him being the apparent KKK founder. As I said, this isn’t Robert E. Lee we’re talking here.

I still feel, most of all, that we should not be honoring Confederate generals on state license plates—but if we’re going to, yes, Bedford Forrest has some OTHER problems attached to him.
