Well, It looks like my prediction about the end of OWS might be wrong. Early reactions seem relatively positive. Lefty blogs seem unbothered by the terrorism and the national MSM is reporting even the more violent protests in Seattle and Oakland as “mostly peaceful” but local press is a bit more unkind. Crowd sizes were respectable. Looks like OWS may continue.

Well, the conditions that helped trigger OWS and that led to it gaining support haven’t really changed. As long as that remains the case, it is very likely that some level of sympathy and support for Occupy will remain.
