Given Obama’s record so far, it would take Ron Paul to keep me away from voting against him. And then, I’d just have to sit out the election; I cannot get myself to vote for Obama the way he has been.

Any damage the others do can be undone so much more easily that the damage Obama is doing.

That’s pretty much my take on things. I couldn’t possibly vote for Obama. And I always vote. So if Obama runs in 2012, for me it’s gonna be either a Republican or a third party candidate.

The thing that would definitively make me not vote for a Republican candidate is if that person was pushing for a theocracy. Hence, Huckabee — never. And that birther woman discussed recently (forget her name) — no way.

I’ve voted for third-party candidates plenty of times in the past (Hell, I even voted for Ralph Nader in 2000!), so I wouldn’t flinch doing so again.

(Anyway, I live in California, which is going to go 60% for Obama anyway, so it’s not as if my vote even mattered.)
