There really isn’t a clear line you can draw on generations. I was born in ‘78, my sister in ‘80. Depending on what you read, we’re either both GenXers, both millennial or I’m a GenXer and she’s a millennial. I’ve always considered myself more a GenXer than anything, even though I’m very much on the young side, I identify a lot more with the GenX culture touchstones than the millennial ones.

And even though my wife is only 6 months younger than I, because I was the youngest child, and she the oldest in our respective families, our experience of the 1960s was very different. My older brothers and sisters would talk about current events, so I paid attention. Mrs. FBW didn’t have that, so she paid less attention.

Funny how that works, but it’s true.
