Not really. On economic and foreign policy issues I hold very different views than liberals tend to hold. However, a bedrock principle of mine has always been that they Constitution says what it means and means what it says. And in this case, the Free Exercise Clause trumps the fact that Park 51 offends some people. Absent actual violations of the law, the project must be allowed to go forwards.
