I hadn’t actually listened to Sarah Palin’s Revere comment. I thought everyone was upset that she was saying Revere was keeping the British from taking our guns. She was saying he was ringing a bell, which he was most definitely not. He was most definitely sneaking. And getting caught.

She came damn close to saying he fired the shot heard round the world.
