It sounds to me like they’re doing the same BS as the mortgage & credit card companies were doing to generate fees.
Here’s a google link to what the congressional inquiries found the credit card companies were doing. You might try threatening the Health Care people with filing a complaint with your State Attorney, IF the payment was on time. Heck, even if they re-instate you, I’d still file the complaint. It’s BS what they’re trying to do.
