On what basis do you determine they’re not doing it? I taught for a while in a town with a lot of Muslim families from Afghanistan. They were, well, like immigrant families from everywhere. Other immigrant groups have crime problems, or violence over issues of assimilation, but none of them are being held up as hopeless here.
