They do have more in common with the Nazis than people like to admit and the Jim Crow South was a terrible place if you were black to say the least.

I agree but generally withhold the argument because it gets twisted and thrown back as Confederate flag = Nazi flag, which is not what I am trying to get across.

But again, a sense of history, nuance and context is the first casualty of the shouting war that is now what we call political discourse.
