They were always so blatantly fake to me because they never cared about the people on the ground or supporting pro democracy and US elements. It was just to attack Obama for having to deal with the situation he inherited that many of them were all for in 2002-3 or indifferent about.

Which all boiled down to the same thing that continues to pop up in politics: “If a Democrat does something, it must be inherently wrong and anything bad must be the Dems complete fault and theirs alone.”
