Yeah, I’m there with the theory that most of them went to DC figuring either that the coup would succeed and Trump would remain in the WH…or that he’d issue a blanket pardon just before leaving office so that they’d all be safe from prosecution. Since neither of those occurred, they’re falling back on their ol’ reliable: “I’m a white guy! I’m a patriotic protestor, unlike those ni-CLANGs who rioted last year!”
