As I always remind people, most of these folks cut their teeth on being irrational about Clinton. Then, they watched and got ideas during the Bush years. It’s sort of like on Criminal Minds, when the serial killer is ‘devolving’ and killing at increasingly shorter intervals. We’ve gotten good at this, and the thrill is fading, so we up the ante.

The Left bashed Reagan mercilessly, the Left took lessons during Clinton and refined the dross during GW. Now the Right returns the “favor” once again.

Is all we are up to doing is assigning blame and letting the kookery run rampant?

No matter what the causes, the disease of hyper-political partisanship is not good for the health of the Republic.
