This period of transition of political power in North Korea is extremely dangerous. Will there be a struggle for power? Certainly. Those who lose will be eliminated. The question is will this power struggle spill outside the borders of North Korea? Could the cyber-attack on South Korea and the United States over the 4th be the first salvo in attempts by given factions within North Korea to prove their bona fides as hard-liners vis-a-vis the West (especially after the loss of face over the turning back of the North Korea ship)? Lots of questions, unfortunately few answers.
